725 Branch Avenue, Providence, RI
Located off Branch Avenue in Providence, the mill consists of five existing buildings that were originally textile mills that expanded into housing blacksmith shops, engines, boiler houses, and gasometers back in the 1870’s. This Historic Rehabilitation project will convert the 5 buildings into a combination of 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom +, 2-bedroom, 2 bedroom +, studios, and townhouses for a total of 228 housing units. In addition to the residential units, the complex contains a bike shop, coffee shop, a gym, and a variety of other retail/commercial spaces.
Electrical work required two new services for the main building, and separate services for other on site buildings. Due to the size of the main building, there were numerous challenges regarding power distribution.
